Headliners National Championships
Special Events
 TITLE CHAMPIONSHIP
All regional title holders will compete for National titles.
You do not have to be a regional title holder to participate
in the national title championship. Students may enter as
an Open contestant provided they have qualified as a gold
level soloist at a regional competition. An opening number
will be choreographed that includes all contestants.
Rehearsals for the opening number begin on June 26th.
2009 National Title winners are required to act as
representatives of Headliners for the entire week of competition
to be eligible to receive their cash award. Cash awards will be
presented at the Awards Banquet
MASTER CLASSES
Classes in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, modern and hip hop
will be offered throughout the National Championships.
 AUDITION WORKSHOP
Lucille DiCampli, Director of MSA (MCDonald Selznick Agency) in
New York will conduct an audition to familiarize dancers with
proper audition techniques. Any student wishing to attend
these auditions should wear appropriate dance attire and bring
all dance shoes. The 2009 Headliners dancers will be selected
and a cash scholarship will be presented to the one dancer who
most successfully passes the audition.
CASTING CALL WITH MCDONALD SELZNICK AGENCY
Lucille DiCampli will hold actual auditions for Headliner participants.
Students and teachers of all ages will be considered for immediate
representation. (McDonald Selznick currently represents Mia
Michaels & Wade Robson.) Dancers interested in a possible contract
are recommended to bring a headshot (or recent picture) and resume.
Female dancers should be in leotard and tights. Male dancers should
wear appropriate dance attire (dance pants, tank top, etc.) Dancers
should bring all dance shoes. At the 2008 National Championships, 17
SAM SACCO - Audition Winner 07 dancers were selected for immediate agency representation and are
(selected for MSA representation) being booked in commercials, music videos and theater.

PARENT CHALLENGE
A special category for adult dancers. No pre-qualifying necessary.
A real crowd pleaser. Join us for lots of fun and laughs.
PLATINUM CIRCLE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Held during Nationals only
Any performance that receives a gold score of 565 or higher
(94+ average) will be placed in the Platinum Circle, the
last competitive event of Nationals. Routines that earn the
necessary score will be announced at each awards ceremony
during the week. Separate cash awards totaling $5000 will
be presented. All previous scores will be invalid and each
routine will be ranked by our entire panel of national judges
AWARDS BANQUET
An event unique to Headliners and always a sellout! Rather then end our Nationals with the standard announcement of overall winners from the stage, Headliners throws a party like no other! This Academy Awards style event will include: a sit-down dinner, the announcement
of all cash awards and scholarship winners, and
dancing with a professional DJ. A great way to end a spectacular week!
